Since Late 2010, Cheka School has provided a free education to over 350 impoverished students. Without Cheka’s free education, these children would be unable to afford pre-primary schooling.
As a small charity, Cheka’s main priority is to reduce the impact of poverty in the area by providing free Swahili and English pre-primary education and offering business and educational opportunities to the community.
In order to keep Cheka School running, we depend heavily on the generosity of others, and we are extremely grateful for everything we receive. Donations help finance the school, pay teacher salaries and provide students with uniforms, supplies, books, toys and two daily meals. 100% of donations go to Cheka School.

Co-managers Arika and Sarah, and former manager, Amy gear-up for their upcoming trip to Cheka, joined by family and friends. While at Cheka, they will be working with Cheka teachers, delivering donated supplies, checking in on graduated students and even building a Cheka chicken coop!
Thank you again to all of the wonderful people who donated funds and supplies!
