Over 3 Years ago, my niece, Amber "Celeste" Anderson suffered a heart attack at the age of 29. Because of her diabetes she has accrued two blockages in the left side of her heart. She has had 2 small stints but she is still struggling with angina pain and it is too risky for the surgeons to put bigger stints in or do a bypass because her heart is too small. So with the help of her cardiologist she has been able to get into the MAYO Clinic to start the process of getting listed for a heart and kidney transplant. Then further down the road she will need to have a pancreas transplant as well.
Over the past year while testing at the MAYO Clinic, they found her kidney function is very low and would need a kidney transplant. Right now her heart is functioning at 40% of a normal person and her kidney's are in stage 5 renal failure. She is also on dialysis and has been a diabetic since she was a little girl. All of this is hard for her family financially and I want to help make it easier on them.
With the recent visit to MAYO Clinic in Rochester, MN and working with St Vincent's in Indianapolis, IN, she will be listed soon for a dual transplant for the heart and kidney. I started this to help assist them with the financial burden they are facing.
Celeste has a wonderful husband, Chris who is completely devoted in taking care of her. They have a beautiful 5 year old daughter, Avonlea.
This family knows the Lord and the power of prayer.
We would like you to prayerfully consider donating to this beautiful family. We appreciate your time. We would ask you to pray for Celeste, her family and the doctors...
Follow her on her journey as she walks her yellow brick road to get a heart, kidney and pancreas..
