Disabled Fireman Castelly ADA Build

Donativo protegido
After fighting for his life from burns and near-fatal cervical injuries in May, Ft. Lauderdale firefighter Vince Castelly now courageously performs the rigors of daily rehabilitation, learning to command the remaining limited use of his body in an Atlanta rehab hospital. His wife Naomie just gave birth to their second child in his absence.  Naomie endured the last three months of her pregnancy with ALL of THIS heavy on her heart and mind:

Vince's home is required to accommodate his special wheelchair and limited movement before he is released to return home with his family in August. There is an expensive list of changes that must be built into and around his home to comply with ADA requirements (Americans With Disabilities Act). These building costs, above and separate from all of Vince's other obvious expenses, are estimated to be upwards of $100,000.  With less than a month before Vince  is scheduled to return home, he will not be released to his wife, son and new baby until this building is complete, so we need to begin drawing on these funds NOW.

These building requirements are NOT covered by insurance, and are compounded by medical, travel and home nurse, as well as other expenses that will follow  his return home and the birth of his new son.  This fund is only for the building accommodations into his home and property.

Help bring Vince Castelly home. Help us bring this hero HOME.
