Carson's GTN Trip to Asia

Beth and I pray you are well and this message finds you living in God’s grace. We wanted to update you concerning what God is doing in our lives as well as ask for your support.

Beth and I both graduate in December 2016 with our Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical and Theological Studies. We are excited to start a family soon! Next summer we plan to move away from La Mirada California to another location and for me to complete a graduate degree in Biblical Studies/ Biblical Languages with the intent of teaching and edifying the church in ministry. We do not know what God has for us in the future, but we are fully confident that he knows what is best and will guide us in every step.

I wanted to ask your support for an opportunity the Lord has brought before me. I have come to know Doug Dorman, a senior staff member of Global Training Network. GTN is devoted to training, equipping and encouraging pastors, church planters and Christian leaders around the world. 75% of Christians live in the ‘Majority World.’ The majority world includes Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East. Of those pastors in the Majority world, 80% have no access to formal biblical training. The mission of GTN is to provide biblical and theological training for those pastors, church planters, and church leaders in the Majority World, so that these pastors and leaders can then effectively equip and lead their congregations to evangelize and disciple their cities, countries, and communities for Christ.

I have an opportunity to join one of the GTN teams in September 2016 to Asia. The team will be working with pastors, church planters, and church leaders to equip them in their current ministries. We ask your support in prayer and finances.
