Caroline's Mission Trip to India

Hello family and friends, my name is Caroline Jenkins and I am currently a sophomore in college. I am raising money to spend a month in India on a mission trip with Adventures in Missions. All the money I am raising goes towards my travel, lodging, and insurance expenses.
I have always had a heart for missions and when I was in 9th grade I went on my first mission trip to Appalachia. I have gone back every year since. Then, this past summer I had the opportunity to spend a week working on a school in Belize with my church. After going to Belize I knew that missions was something God was calling me to do.
The next semester I attended a Missions Fair at my University and spoke with a representative of Adventures in Missions. After speaking with Adventures, I went online and looked at their trips. I prayed about it and I felt like God wanted me to go to India. I am so excited and humbled to have this opportunity. I cannot wait to see how God will use me this summer.
I will serve as a missionary through Adventures in Missions (ADV) in their Passport program! The Passport program is designed specifically for college aged students and can last anywhere from 1-3 months to a specific country. I have applied and been accepted for the India Passport trip! I will spend the month of June (June 3-July 3) in India with a team of other men and women of God. We will be partnering with a ministry that is already active in the community. Our ministry could include running a VBS, visiting the surrounding villages and spreading the love of Jesus, or helping out at the orphanage. As a team our goal is to meet any need that our ministry contact has that we are able to and to build relationships with those we minister to.
I am so grateful for this opportunity that God has given me and have every confidence that He will provide for my needs. Ultimately, my prayer is that He will do that through you. I am writing to you to ask if you would consider partnering prayerfully and financially with me in my ministry. I must raise $4,300 to go on the India Passport summer trip. This covers all of my travel and lodging expenses and insurance while I’m on the field. I have several deadlines to meet in the coming months and will need to have 100% of my support in my account before I launch (June 3). If 43 people give $100, I will be fully funded for my trip!
