Our Dear friend Dina Hot formally Dina Busuioc was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit in January 22, 2018 and received the devastating diagnosis January 30, 2018. Dina is diagnosed with Malignant Papillary Carcinoma of the thyroid. Stage four, quite advanced. She has 3.3 tumor that is located in throat that causes complications to her vocal box and cords. All the lymph nodes in her neck are also consumed by the cancer. In addition she has 9 smaller clusters of tumors surrounding the main Carcinoma.
The main surgery to take place April 24, 2018, after this three more minor procedures will follow. She will undergo three rounds of chemotherapy, Radiation Iodine Pill and one session of radiation to zap whatever cancer cells are left lingering.
In March of 2018, severe complications led her to be intubated and essentially kept ‘alive‘ by machines. She has recovered tremendously well and attended Easter service. In addition there is extensive testing still needed that unfortunately health insurance will not cover. The purpose of the test is to locate any cancer cells and verify if they have spread throughout her body. This test at Redlands Community Hospital is $4,875. Since her diagnosis, even with the help of health insurance, her medical bills along with other costs have been and are still accumulating.
As her situation worsens and hospital visits increase, especially with a major surgical procedure ahead, we anticipate many more expenses to come in. In this unfortunate phase of Dina’s life, we are reaching out for any help we can give her.

Her Husband served in the Army as a Sergeant and had a platoon under him. He experienced hell on earth, was in heavy fire arm exchange with the enemy as they became ambushed and their humvee exploded by hitting a IED (road side bomb) they exchanged hours of gun fight until another team came to assist.
Danny has two deployments since September 11th. The tragedies are imprinted in his soul and mind. Imagine being at war as you’re patrolling and you see children playing outside with a ball. Only to get lur the Americans and sacrifice themselves unto Allah.
Danny, unfortunately suffers from severe PTSD. He has significant ear loss and damage done as he was a part of the “bomb squad) that swept for IED’s.
He’s our very own American hero.
Dina was born to the proud, excited and expectant parents Firuta and Mihail Busuioc on September 11, 1986. Dina, was born in Sibiu, Romania.
At a mere three months of age, Dina , her oldest brother, Michael and parents were able to escape Romania and find refuge in the United States of America. Specifically, California, Southern California became their indefinite home.
Meanwhile, the Busuioc family embraced the newest and last addition to the family, Debbie. Debbie was born in January of 1994. Dina, with her siblings were all raised in a Pentecostal household. To know the Lord, live for His will, pray for grace and forgiveness.
They were introduced to the church at young ages and up until this day participate in the church. November 16, 2008 was the day two hearts became one.
Daniel and Dina exchanged vows and made their promise before the church and the Lord. Dina and Danny have been married for nearly 10 years and welcomed a beautiful daugther to their family; Emily Dina Hot. She was born prematurely and needed to spend time in the NICU. Emily was born September 7, 2009 VIA emergency cesarean section (c-section) to safely remove Emily and protect mommy-to-be. The best way I can describe Dina is the following:
Dina is the pillar that keeps our family united, despite her personal trials and tribulations she pushes forward to help her family first then herself.
She lights up any room she enters and anywhere she goes.
She is selfless, vibrant, compassionate, and a loyal friend to many.
Dina is a cheerful young lady who cherishes the simple things in life and displays love for others around her. During this heartbreaking journey, she has been the epitome of strength. Even as she is in a constant state of pain, Dina still manages to keep her sense of optimism and responsibility.
On the days that she is not receiving treatment, she works part time as a nanny to earn extra income to pay for day to day expenses.
Her husband, Daniel, is gainfully employed, however being the sole and exclusive source of income has been extremely taxing on Danny.

I want to take a moment and address the rumors and speculation that is causing sound waves through the local Romanian community. In January of this year I was hospitalized and the first four days of admission I was in the Intensive Care Unit and later transferred to the Oncology unit. it was discovered and confirmed through a ultrasound led biopsy. My nightmare has resurfaced. I have stage four Papillary Carcinoma (cancer of the thyroid) in addition to the 3.3 cm tumor on my thyroid and vocal cords. I have nine additional clusters of tumors. My lymph nodes are also positive for cancer. The medical team gave me a very grim prognosis. Aside from that I have faith that with a combination of surgery to completely remove the thyroid, chemotherapy, radiation and holistic approach my healing will come from Father God who delivers those from sickness in different methods. I know the Father will guide the surgeons hands and praying the surgeons is critical. Lord, guide their hands and may I be protected from any possible risks. In March of this year I was comatose as a result of the tumors, medication and chemotherapy. Severe allergic reaction that caused my throat to completely close up. Unpleasant medical complications postponed surgery three times. It’s critical that this date of the 24th is put into effect. I want to also mention that if you know a loved one, friend, Acquaintance, stranger. Please , never question their integrity and why they selected their treatment plan. We are entitled to select the treatment we deem helpful. Respect their decision and be a word of encouragement. I am scheduled to have surgery April 24th, 2018. It is a very complexed surgery that will take up to six hours. If you have the moment say a prayer for my family. Most importantly for my awesome and selfless husband, Daniel and our sweet Emily. Danny is one rare soul. He is my biggest supporter and cheerleader he is also our exclusive and only source of income. The financial burden is difficult to carry on oneself. Let’s pray I receive healing and can contribute financially. I had to put in a leave of absence. Pray that God opens doors of opportunity for Daniel. For those who were informed privately over the last few months. Thank you. Thank you for being my ultimate support system. In prayer, friendship, words spoken with such encouragement and authority to cast out cancer. I love you all for your support, patience and reassurance. Vreau să iau o clipă și să mă adresez zvonurilor și speculațiilor care cauzează valuri sonore prin intermediul comunității românești locale. În luna ianuarie a acestui an am fost internat în spital și în primele patru zile de admitere am fost în unitatea de terapie intensivă și am transferat ulterior la unitatea de oncologie. a fost descoperit și confirmat printr-o biopsie condusă cu ultrasunete.
Coșmarul meu a reapărut. Am un stadiu patru carcinom papilar (cancer de tiroidă) în plus față de tumora de 3,3 cm pe tiroidele mele și corzile vocale. Am nouă grupuri de tumori suplimentare. Nodulii limfatici sunt, de asemenea, pozitivi pentru cancer. Echipa medicală mi-a dat un prognostic foarte sumbru. În afară de asta am credința că, printr-o combinație de intervenții chirurgicale pentru a elimina complet tiroida, chimioterapia, radiația și abordarea holistică, vindecarea mea va veni de la Tatăl Dumnezeu, care îi eliberează pe aceia de boală prin metode diferite.
