Cancer Treatment for SassEsnacks ASMR

$33,521 of $50,000 goal

My beloved sister, SassE, of "SassEsnacks ASMR" has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, which has spread to her liver.  It has taken weeks for doctors to find it even though she has complained of excruciating pain and nausea.  She hasn't slept in weeks.  It was not until a CT scan was finally ordered that we were told of the horrific news.

Pancreatic cancer is usually found in the late stages and the prognosis is usually not good.  Additionally, she also has blood clots in her stomach due to the cancer.  Right now, we are waiting for her biopsy and PET scan to tell us what stage she is in and what can be done to save her life.

Time is of the essence.  My GOAL is to raise enough money SassE to get the best care possible, preferably at a cancer treatment institute.  Although SassE has medical insurance, you can already see that they dropped the ball and took too long to find the cancer.  We want to be able to send her to the best doctors for the best treatment.  No more of this half-ass doctors for her.  It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT that we raise the money QUICKLY.  The sooner the money is available, the sooner she can get the proper treatment.

As you may or may not know, SassE has never been married and has no children, so she has no one to care for her financial needs during this difficult time.  I have reached out to her family, friends and YouTube "fans" to help her financially.  I know she has helped so many of you through difficult times; I hope and pray that you can find a few dollars this Christmas & holiday season to help her.

SassE has placed me in charge of her financial and medical care.  I will do everything I can to get her the best care possible.  Not one penny will go to anything personal for me nor my family.

We want SassE back, 100%.  I need her in my life and I know you need her in yours.  Please, please help!

If you can't help her financially, please, keep her on the top of your prayer list.  She needs your prayers for quick testing, results and for a cure.  Please pray for control of her pain and nausea; we need her to eat.

Thank you and may God bless you for helping SassE.

It is with a shattered heart that I have to post today that SassEsnacks left us to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 10, 2019.

I returned from my vacation on April 4th, stayed the night at her home, then went to my home to unpack. Melissa (her friend of 19 years) was caring for her and asked me to come back. When I returned, I could see that she was fading fast. I told her that if she saw our brother, to go with him as fast as she could. She couldn't speak, but she made a noise and she nodded. Tears started falling from her eyes. I told her that I would miss her terribly, but that I wanted her to go home to the Lord and that we would be ok. She nodded again, and more tears came down. I told her to hug our brother for us all and to tell him we love him and miss him, too. She shed a few more tears and nodded, then she drifted off to sleep.

Every moment, she drifted further and further away. On April 8th we placed her in inpatient hospice care because we could no longer control her pain at home. She couldn't swallow her pills anymore, so she needed the IV for the pain meds. This was a very difficult decision to make, but, she told me long ago that she didn't want to suffer. This was our only hope for her to be free from pain.

Before we could blink, she could no longer eat nor drink. She couldn't open her eyes anymore and her breathing became labored. She valiantly waited for our oldest sister who arrived from California at 9 pm on April 9th. SassE could no longer speak, but she knew we were all present. We told her we loved her and hugged her and kissed her. I stayed with SassE over night while mom, sis and Melissa went to SassE's house for some rest.

At 4:39 a.m. on April 10th, our brother's 60th birthday and first birthday in heaven, the nurse came in with the stethoscope and told me she was gone. I truly believe that my brother arrived with a piece of birthday cake that SassE could not refuse. She left while we were sleeping. She wouldn't have it any other way.

I want to thank you for all of your prayers, gifts, donations and well wishes. I want you to know that we are using your donations to pay for her medical bills and mortgage until we are ready to sell her home. I will also make a donation to the American Cancer Society. We have a long road ahead. Please continue to pray for our family and her closest friends as we ache for our loss.

God bless,

~Jane

Hey SassEsnacks Friends,

I hope this note finds you well. I just wanted to say THANK YOU again for all of your love and support. SassE is doing the best she can under the circumstances. She is making the best of each day as we all should, since tomorrow is never promised. Your thoughts and comments make us laugh and cry, but I believe that YOU have helped her get this far in her battle against pancreatic cancer.

I am leaving for a couple of weeks for a get away I planned last year. SassE has supported me 100% on this. Her friends will be visiting and caring for her while I am away. I will be checking on her from my vacation, however, I won't be able to post her on GoFundMe.

SassEsnacks has a website you can follow on as well as a FB page, however, the best way to get updates is to go to IG and follow Lizzy and Jane Holidays. We are still praying for a SassEsnacks miracle and for the cancer to be killed and for her to heal on this side of heaven! Please continue to pray for God to heal her. On a side note, the only thing she really wants out of life is to see the finale to Game of Thrones. So, if anyone has any connections for a private screening at SassE's house, please, let me know!

God bless you all and thank you again. I can't say that enough.

All the best,

~Jane

Feeling positive! Lizzy (SassE) has decided to try natural remedies to fight the cancer. It’s not too late for our miracle.

Many of you sent thoughts and videos and articles to help. The problem was that the chemo made her feel so bad that she couldn’t follow through with anything.

She is eating well now, but the chemo has stopped. Thank to subscriber Tina, SassE thought she could give the juice approach a try. She has nothing to lose. So we are going to buy all of the goods and give it a try. We are also going to try a few other suggestions made by her subscribers.

For these reasons, fundraising is back on. If we can buy her more time, we will eventually get her to a holistic doctor overseas. So, she has asked me to continue with fundraising.

For those of you who have donated we are ever so grateful. Bills are still rolling in and she still isn’t gettting paid and everything helps.

Thank you and may God bless you all!

Dearest Family, Friends and SassEsnacks Fans,

Yesterday, we got the bad news. The cancer has grown. After discussing all of the options with the oncologist, SassE has decided to begin hospice care. For those not aware, this means that there is nothing more they can do for her but keep her comfortable. It also means that she is not expected to be with us longer than 6 months.

I can't tell you how devastated and heartbroken we are about losing her, but, as SassE does, she has taken the news like she isn't phased. We have watched her suffer immensely from the pain and nausea from this horrible disease and from the side effects of chemo. We all find great comfort in knowing that she will be healed and whole when she meets our Father in Heaven.

She asked me to tell you THANK YOU for your prayers, love and support. She said to tell you to no longer give her donations, as you have given enough for her to get through the end of her life. Your graciousness has helped us to pay for her mortgage, monthly expenses and medical bills when her work pay stopped.

Per her request, I will use what is left of the money to make her house payments, medical bills and for her final expenses. She has asked me to take her to the beach so that she can search for seashells one last time, a favorite thing for us to do when we were kids. She also wants to visit a few small towns in Georgia while she is still feeling well enough since she didn't get to upon moving here, so hopefully, she will feel well enough to take some short day trips and enjoy the next few weeks.

I wish to thank you on behalf of our family and friends for helping her and all of us through this extremely difficult time. Our mother couldn't believe how many lives SassE had touched. You have touched our lives as well.

I will keep this page open for now and update you as I can. Thank you for loving SassEsnacks.

All the best,

~Jane
