$9,609 of $10,000 goal

Raised by 161 people in 13 months
Created August 3, 2017
Jennifer Thompson-Campbell and her mother Nancy were killed when a big rig collided with their Chevy Aveo in La Mesa on Wednesday, August 2nd  as they were going home from work.

Jenn was a beautiful and loving woman with an amazing spirit and she was just 8 days away from her 30th birthday.

Jennifer is survived by her husband, Donny and their children Dillon and Ariana and stepson Jordan. We are raising funds to help support the family in this trying time and to help cover expenses that will be incurred.

Anything helps and on behalf of the family, thank you to everyone for your support and love.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this campaign for Thompson-Campbell family. It means so much to Donny to know that you are supporting them.

This past Thursday would have been Jenn's 30th birthday and we had the Celebration of Life today for Jennifer and Nancy. This is a picture of Dillon and Ariana sending messages to their mom earlier this week.

FRCSW Employees,

It is with a heavy heart that I tell you about the passing of two FRCSW employees, Nancy Thompson and Jennifer Campbell. Yesterday there was a terrible automobile accident on SR125. We learned that a semi-truck crossed the lines and hit 2 cars; one of which was being driven by Nancy and Jennifer.

Many of you knew these women and I am sure you are stunned and grief stricken. The XO and I understand and share that grief. These ladies were two of this commands shining stars and they have been taken from us far too soon.

It is at times like this that our FRCSW Family must band together and support one another...so please help your fellow employees who may be coping with this tragic loss. The personnel of this command have shown over the years how much you support one another and I am certain that same support will happen this time as well.

We all approach a loss such as this in different ways. Should anyone need to talk to a counselor I encourage you to use the Navy Civilian EAP Services that are there for this very purpose.

Please note that the Base Chaplin is also available as well.

Respectfully and Sincerely,
CAPT Craig Owen
FRCSW Commanding Officer
