Help Us Become A 501c3 To Save Pets

Donation protected

Callie DeWitt is a college freshman, obtaining her degree to be a Veterinarian.  Callie's Critters officially began on June 5, 2017 after the untimely passing of Callie's father.  An animal lover her entire life, she's now dedicated her time and love to rescuing and rehoming unwanted, orphaned, or homeless pets throughout Butler County, Ohio.

Currently, she has thirteen personal pets that are indeed part of the family.  Knowing how much she loves animals, people had always contacted her for assistance in rehoming their small pets.  Finding it difficult to pay for college, animal food, pet supplies, and medical care, she dreams for Callie's Critters to be a non-profit organization, where the funds will help care for the rescues.

After research, she found out the process of filing paperwork and applications to the IRS could cost between $850-$1,000.  She is now, highly dependant on the generosity of animals lovers around the world, to support her in her efforts, to make her dream come true.

To see the current small animals up for adoption, please visit Callies Critters on Facebook.  Contact information, adoption forms, and donation wishlist items can be found there as well.  Unwanted animal cages, leashes, collars, litter boxes, sleeping beds, pet hammocks, and sanitizing & cleaning supplies are just a few items on the wishlist.  Laundry detergent, Dawn dishwashing liquid, flea and tick medicine, paper towels, trash bags, pet toys, kitten formula, and pet food (for rabbits, ferrets, kittens and cats, dogs, mice, and rats), as well as supermarket gift cards for fresh fruits and vegetables are additionally appreciated.  Gas station gift cards (such as Speedway) are useful when picking up the animals, and transporting them to the veterinarian and back, or when they are rehomed.  Pet toys, pet beds, first aid items, dog nail clippers, cat litter, shoe boxes, q-tips, and bleach are other ideas for donations.

Your love of animals and support for Callie's Critters, will ensure the care, safety and rehoming these sweet animals.  It is the goal of Callie's Critters to educate the public on the importance of spay & neutering pets to prevent homelessness, shelter overcrowding, and ferel animals.

Come "LIKE" Callie's Critters on facebook, and feel free to share photos and stories of your own pets, while checking out animals up for adoption!  Bless you!
