My name is Justin Calhoun. I'm a financial technology software developer from Memphis, TN currently living in Southern California. I recently moved with my family across the country to pursue my dreams of being a startup founder. Now I've got my business plans and I'm pursuing funding. In the meantime, I need your help!
This campaign is an effort to develop a consulting business while my pre-revenue startups secure funding and grow a consumer base to begin generating revenue . My team, LeanAlpha, and I have determined the best option is to reach out for the support of our family and friends to get this campaign to go viral.
Additionally, we are currently launching two crowdfunding campaigns and drafting documents (term sheet, share purchase agreement and pitch deck) for our formal capital raise.
A family & friends capital raise is the first step in a long process from startup concept to IPO or acquisition. Take a look at our business plans and let me know what you think. I welcome feedback, positive and negative.

We own a minority stake
SilkSmile Business Plan
FrontierMetrix - Capital Markets Research Firm
We own the majority stake. This is my baby. I came up with FrontierMetrix as custom configurable trader's dashboard for money managers, retail investors and institutions. It has now moved into the realm of an "expert system", known to many as an A.I.
FrontierMetrix Business Plan
We're submitting the FrontierMetrix business plan to the 43North business plan competition in Buffalo, NY. The deadline is June 24th. Prizes are $250K x 4, $500,000 x 6 and $1MM grand prize. After reviewing a few of last year's winners, I feel we have a good chance to pick up at least $250K!
Both projects are launching crowdfunding campaigns in June/July. Once we wrap up the campaigns, we should have enough funds to get us to revenue.
As you can see, it's pretty exciting pursuing our dreams.
