Help Jin Recover- CQ Carjacking

I am a neighbor of Jin, and a concerned citizen living in the Navy Yard/ Capitol Hill area of DC. I reached out to Jin and asked her if we could set up a GoFundMe Page as our community wants to do something to get her back on her feet as she was a victim of a horrendous carjacking in the Navy Yard/Capitol Hill area.
On Friday December 18, 2015, at 9:00PM members of the First District responded to the 300 block of L Street, SE for the report of a carjacking.
Jin described this ordeal in an email she sent.
“I was carjacked and assaulted by 2-3 guys around 9:30pm at L street between 3rd and 4th street, SE Washington, DC on Friday December 18, 2015.
I was taken to the GW hospital ER Room by the police around 10:00pm.
I suffered one broken nose bone, few broken jaw bones, broken left lips and 2 broken teeth. I also suffered a big blow to my back head. I had an oral surgery and 12 stitches on my lips and still have severe headache. I was released from hospital Sunday afternoon, December 20, 2015. It will take a few months and additional 2-3 surgeries in order for me to recover.
I lost my iPhone, car, wallet and some other personal items inside of the car.
My car is a silver Honda Civic EX sedan with 4 doors and a moon roof with DC plate number EG2475.
As a community, as a neighbor and as someone that could do nothing more then call 911 when this happened... wants to help. I am hoping that others will help her and the money raised will help with her medical bills and recovery.

Crime has increased in many of our communities in DC, in ours we have seen an increase of 500% in violent crimes and we need to do something about it. Get involved in stopping crime, be vigilant, and contact the police department and see how they can help.
Community Officer Take home car programs, Metro PD Cameras, walking patrols/community policing are all ways Metro should be supporting our community.
