Hope COPS Christmas for Kids

The purpose of the event is to foster positive relationships between area youth and local police officers.  During the holiday season, young children in K - 8th grades are selected to shop with police officers at one of the local area stores to purchase gifts for themselves. Each child is given a specified amount of money to spend, normally between $150-$200.

Approximately 1-2 children are assigned to each police officer, who then escorts them around the store and assists in selecting appropriate gifts for the children.
