Coach Austin Memorial Scholarship

Coach Jim Austin worked with kids for over 50 years all over Northeast Arkansas. His name was synonymous with helping other. Coach Austin had an interest in helping young athletes to do their best in sports as well as in doing their best in life. "He was a blessing to be around" When coach Austin worked with you on a skill he alway schallendged you to do your very best. 
A memorial Scholarship in his name has been established at Hoxie High School.  This scholarship will help student athletes that are college bound that have an ACT score of 21 or higher and a GPA of 3.00 or higher with their college tuition.
