ON MY WAY HOME

THE PROJECT

'On My Way Home' is my first self publishing novel project. This 'GoFundMe' campagne is used for all the needed funds for publishing, distributing and promoting the book. As I am travelling the world as a Karma Yogi, your support is crucial in making this dream come true.


THE STORY

In a time of global awakening a young girl, Marina, and a mysterious man called Tiger, meet by coincidence far away from home. Both on their way to a new haven they try to make ends meet and look for the best that life has to offer. Soon, as in most affairs, their expectations clash and they break up. As Marina leaves Tiger, she is inspired to collect his notes and is determined to write down his story as he would have told it.

The story of Tiger and his encounters is a turbulent tale of a sensitive man trying to understand the world, taking part in every aspect of it and looking to push it to a better state of being. He is being chased by a strange series of coincidences that challenge him to purify his mind to its full potential.

In the setting of some of the most beautiful places of the planet, our world is being dissected and its true nature revealed. The reader gets the choice: read the book as Tigers roller-coaster ride into awareness or as Marinas testimony of being tested on unconditional love.

'On my way home' is a story travelling around the world by the voice of people out there, their deepest insights and contradicting opinions. As the search for values and finding balance are key issues for our generation, reading 'On my way home' is a poetic plunge into self exploration.

THE WRITER

Christoffel Hendrickx was born and raised in  the north of  Belgium. He studied English, literature and theatre at the University of Antwerp and received recognition as a poet, dj and art director. He broadened his practice of musical collaboration and theatre projects 
to the public space by aligning with activism, centered around sustainability,  civil disobedience and social values. Struggling with addiction and alienation he emigrated to New Zealand where he started a path of natural living, meditation and yoga. This first novel expresses views on the global shift and shares his deepest travel experiences. His spiritual transformation is fictionalised for literary purposes in 'On my way home'.
