Zoie's Scoliosis Convention in NY!

Zoie is 12 years old and was diagnosed with idiopathic scoliosis two and a half years ago. She wears a Boston Brace 20 hours a day and belongs to Curvy Girls, what is Curvy Girls you ask?

Curvy Girls is a network of peer-led support group that reduces the emotional impact of scoliosis by empowering girls through mutual support and acceptance to become leaders, learn how to make healthy lifestyle choices, and improve one’s self-esteem.

Zoie would love to and greatly benefit from meeting others just like her, but she needs your help in raising enough money to attend the 2016 International Curvy Girl Convention in New York!! At this convention she will have an opportunity to meet so many others just like her and attend several workshops. These workshops will focus on successful tips on how to better cope with her scoliosis, provide practical tried and proven self-esteem methods and much needed peer emotional support are just a few of other several information sessions that are slated.

Tammy will also be able to attend workshops on bracing issues/challenges, the legal matters, encouragement in advocating for Zoie and a host of other real-world everyday matters and concerns.

The money raised will be going to the Curvy Girls registration fees for both Zoie and Tammy, the hotel, which is the Hyatt Regency Hotel, transportation and round trip airfare from Seattle to New York.

This will be taking place in June of 2016 - please help us raise enough funds to get Zoie to New York and to meet not just one girl but hundreds of girls just like her!
