Operation Care Package

Donation protected
CACOW (Community Adjuvabit Club of Wichita) is an interactive volunteer club at Maize South High School ran by Katie (sophomore)  and Hannah (senior).  We have 245 students who willingly donate their time to help out in Wichita.  In the past, we have participated in events with Numana to package over 11,000 meals for the hungry, the Wichita Children's Home to raise over $490 dollars in just one minute, and the Make a Wish Foundation to put on the annual easter egg hunt.

This year,  CACOW will sponsor their first annual Winter Drive for the Homeless. There are over 2,500 homeless people without shelter just in Wichita, KS. CACOW is partnering with the Wichita Police Department to distribute the bags to help those in need this winter. Backpacks will be filled with winter clothing and personal hygiene items including, but not limited to, blankets, gloves, hats, protein bars, water, chapstick, and deodorant. To raise funds for this cause, we will be having a city-wide movie event at Maize South High School. The money donated will go straight to the event cost and to buy products like blankets, food, and clothing for the winter drive. Everything that is donated will be greatly appreciated by not only CACOW, but by the many people in need of help in Wichita, KS. For more information about CACOW please visit cacow.weebly.com
