Buttercup the Three Legged Kitty

Buttercup is a sweet kitten who was born to a stray momma cat in August 2014. When she was born, she had a birth defect that left one back leg virtually useless.
Brother Wolf Animal Rescue, a non-profit animal rescue centered in Asheville, NC rescued Buttercup and her siblings from homelessness. The kittens were separated into foster homes where they could rest and grow until they find their Furever Home.
Buttercup was placed into the care of one volunteer, Tara Sawyer (my Mom). Buttercup bonded with her foster family immediately.
It's been a tough couple of months for this precious girl. Adjusting to her new home and now coping with the amputation of her "wonky" leg, she has become dependant on her human parents. Tara has fostered over 25 cats and kittens over the years, but never has a kitten become so attached (nor has a kitten stolen her heart so).
This fund is intended to ensure that future veterinary care will be covered and to allow her to remain with the family she has adopted as her own.
