Bring *James* back to the USA!!

Hey all! My name is Sarah Moore and this Gofundme will be used to help bring our friend *James back to the United States from a foreign country to finish up his graduate degree in his home state of North Carolina. He'd like to be back in the states before January 5th if at all possible so he could re-enroll at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte before next semester starts.
*James has been one of my best friends for two years. He's highly intellectual, was pursuing a degree in philosophy and economics before he left and plans to return to the US to finish his masters degree, which would allow him to become a professor and continue to impart his love of knowledge onto generations to come. He was a member of the Business Honors Program for 3.5 years, which is comprised of the top 10% of all business students at UNC Charlotte and was the past president and founding member of the North Carolina World Trade Association chapter on campus.
He's also a huge cinemaphile and loves comic books, and spends his free time reading any books he can get his hands on!
This money would be used to get him a plane ticket (~$1000) back to the states, pay any fees associated with rejoining the school he was previously attending (~$500-$750), and the rest would most likely be used for rent if there was any left (~$560).
We would be enternally grateful to whoever could support this fundraiser to get him home, and we thank you for your charity and time!
