Brian W-Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma
Donation protected
This week, Brian Whistler was diagnosed with Stage Four Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, in the T3 cells and thyroid.
For many months, Brian had been struggling with stomach problems and strange rashes. He sought out medical treatment right away but week after week, more tests were ordered and no answers were given.
Brian is such a big part of our community. Throughout the years he has coached sports, ran youth basketball, sang at church, volunteered his time and energy to continually support our kids and teenagers. Not to mention he is the kind of friend who is always there for you.
The diagnosis has hit us all hard. Brian has two sons Zach and Eli, who he loves dearly. And lots of BONUS family that need him also.
Brian has been in the hospital for a few weeks now. His kidneys were having problems and they started him on dialysis, which he will continue. He also started chemo last night. He will remain hospitalized for a while.
Talking to him today. I felt helpless. This is a problem I cannot solve, but I can help. While he is in the hospital and going through Dialysis and Chemotherapy (and whatever else comes his way on his road to recovery), he still has to maintain and provide for everyday life. As you can imagine this is next to impossible.
We can help him in a practical way! Please donate anything you can- SHARE!! All money raised will go to Brian’s immediate needs; his rent, groceries for his boy’s, utilities, insurance premiums... anything we can do to help him get through this. Thank you in advance for your time, your energy, your money and your prayers!!
We love you Brian!
