Fellow Kayaking Surfing and All-out Missoula Enthusiasts,
This message is a long time coming, but we finally have the opportunity to make the webcam on Brennan's Wave a reality!
This idea was first presented to me in the fall of 2011 or 2012. Yes, it's been that long ago, I don't even remember!
After working with Northwestern Energy, the Missoula Downtown Association, Parks and Rec, PETE'S electric, and even the department of labor, we finally have an opportunity to lay the conduit necessary to make the webcab for Brennan's Wave a reality!

Yes, I was under water for a long time.
Fortunately, I'm still among the living still ready to serve in the capacity as a licensed professional engineer to keep kayaking and river surfing safe, fun and enjoyable for those who brave and thrive in the cool clean rivers that Montanans are lucky enough to enjoy.
We will use your contributions to purchase electrical conduit, ethernet cable, a better camera, a dedicated IP address, and a dedicated web address to keep everyone abreast on what's happening on Brennan's Wave 24-7-365. Funds will also go towards a maintenance contract and insurance against vandalism.
Our goal is to raise the full $5000 by April 30, 2016, which happens to be my 46th birthday. That's only a month away, so we're looking for about $170 a day for a month. Whoa, that's only sixty-nine cents an hour!
With the camera in place you'll be able to check out what your bros and bras are up to, see how busy the wave is, or just send out a quick shout to Mom, who wants to see what you're up to in the Last Best Place.
So fire off some cash today and let's see what we can pull off by April 30!
