My name is Brendan Riordan, I have been racing dirtbikes in New England since age 4. I race Offroad/Cross Country events and I am currently a top AA/Local Pro Rider. I am now training and competing at the national level as well as competing in local New England events as my schedule allows
This year I have the honor of being selected through a series of qualifying events to be a member of Team USA at the 2017 International Six Day Enduro (ISDE) which will take place in France beginning August 28th.
The ISDE is considered the Olympics of Off Road racing, there will be over 1,000 of the top competitors from all over the world in attendance. The race averages 180 miles per day for six days straight and competitors are only allowed to work on their motorcycles for 15 minutes per day. Once the event starts riders cannot receive help from anyone on the course or working on the bike, this is truly a test of man and machine! It has been a long time goal of mine to not only compete in this event but hopefully bring home a Gold Medal. These highly coveted medals are awarded to riders that complete the entire 6 day event in a time within 10% of the overall winner. For more information and history of the ISDE please see my website.

It goes without saying that this is an extremely expensive undertaking with costs that can easily approach $20,000. I will be getting help from some of my incredible sponsors, family and friends but I can use all the help I can get! As I will be entering my senior year at Bridgewater State University this will be a challenge for my entire family.
