Veteran needs funds for business

Donation protected
Hi there! I would like your help to fund my project. I am African-American veteran looking to start a small business doing mobile repairs and technical training for Veterans and disadvantage youth.

I would like to use my training and experience to teach others, some of my skills, that they can use as a hobby or as an introduction to a new field. After they leave the Military, a lot of veterans have a hard time adjusting to civilian life and holding down a regular job. My business will target these veterans and assist them with technical training to work for themselves in the short term to give them some relief. Plus, I will use my program  to train disadvantaged youth in my area by conducting workshops at local venues such as Elementary Schools and Recreation Centers to reach as many youth as possible. By providing under-employed youth with short-term workshops I believe they can be set  on their own path to money.  Many of the youth are curious Teen techies and are in a group  of students that have "always wanted to learn to fix things.

I am seeking to raise $25,000 raise to purchase a Customized Mobile Van and other equipment to start the business and perform some light repairs to the vehicle. The normal cost of the van would usually be $30,000, but a local company is willing to sell it to me , as a veteran, for $15,000. The van has customized flooring, painting and decals, and power system that you can view in the attached pictures. The money will be used to change the logo from the other company and repalce it with our logo and branding.

I am seeking your help to raise the funds by the end of December so that the program can start at the beginning of the year. If we are successfull in raising the funds, we can start offering the training as soon as January 2018, which is less that 60 days away. Every little bit will help. I will love to have your support so I can do more for the veterans and disadvantaged youth in my community.I can tell you first hand that I have seen my plan work. After 8 years in the Marines, and serving in the second Gulf war, my cousin had a hard time adjusting to civilian life. He went to college, but didn’t finish. Like many other war veterans, he hadn’t made the adjustment to civilian life yet. So, he couldn’t keep steady employment and also had to deal with medical issues. I reached out to him and offered him a chance to work with me fixing computers and cellphones. Without hesitation, he jumped at the chance and learned quickly. It was the one on one training and independent work that allowed him to gradually function without being overwhelmed, stress or hyperventilating. It took a while, but with each day, week and month he got better to the point that he was hired by a company in New York on his first interview. I can't tell you how satisfying it was  to see him get back on track and return to as sense of normalcy. Now,  I would like to help other the same way that I helped him. Please donate and I thank you for your service!!!
