Reunite Separated Newlyweds!
True North Strong and Expensive
In August of 2009, I met the man I would eventually marry, in August of 2013. Un/Fortunately, that man is Canadian. That means lots of expensive paperwork so that we can move in together, buy a home, and start a family together in Canada.
Both of our families gave us a wonderful wedding, with financial support, and the gifts of their many talents. For my husband, the normal summer season rush did not materialize at all in 2013, and I spent a large portion of the year, unexpectedly, unemployed, and underemployed.
We're raising money to cover lawyer's fees and application fees so that I can apply for permanent residency and finally move in with my husband!
Here's the breakdown of what the funds will be used for:
Lawyer's Fees: $0 - We have decided not to use a lawyer
Application Fees: $1025
Mandatory Medial Exam Fees: $265
GoFundMe Fees: $239.50
