My name is Terence Dodson, Executive Director of Bless1.org. I am writing on behalf of Bless1.org to ask you to support a very important cause. DONATE TODAY to help the homeless in rural Georgia. Those of you whom are not familiar with our work, Bless1.org is a charitable 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded to give to those individuals and families in need the resources and support they need to help them get on their feet. In today’s complex society, it is often very difficult to overcome hardships and misfortune. This can become in many ways devastating for someone and are not usually due to a person’s own actions. In virtually every community there are those who struggle to meet basic needs. There are often a variety of reasons that could include the loss of a job, a lack of transportation, medical issues, a disability, a family crisis, terrorist attacks or natural disasters.
Far too many individuals and families suddenly find themselves homeless and struggling to survive. Imagine sleeping in the shadows on winter streets, knowing that there is a safe, warm shelter just five miles away – a shelter with showers, hot meals clean clothing, and important resources. Only five miles away – yet you can’t get there because you are too weak to make it on foot and do not know of any transportation available. GIVE Bless1.org the opportunity to help these individuals become educated and self-sufficient through a small donation from you. While we strive to solve all the problems that the homeless population faces, we can respond by trying to provide them with key specific needs. Our organization needs your support to help end homelessness and get these people on a path to a better life. The Homeless need your help and Bless1.org can help them. GIVE TODAY and help us purchase a used passenger van. This van will provide transportation for our homeless neighbors to get them to a welcoming shelter, transport them to Social Service resources, job interviews, skills training sessions, medical facilities, educational services – even shopping trips to purchase food and clothing. Our volunteers have picked up some of our Neighbors with their personal vehicles, but it has been a burden, and inconsistent. Homeless neighbors who are able, have even walked but many are unable to make it across town. We urge that your CONTRIBUTION of a small DONATION can help us provide the homeless neighbors with the transportation that is needed to help them dramatically change their lives.
With your DONATIONS we can raise $15,000 to purchase a van to help the homeless. This amount will also cover vehicle registration and auto insurance for three years. Your tax-deductible (501c3) donation can literally mean the difference between homelessness and self-sufficiency!
Please we urge you to open your hearts to those who are less fortunate!
