Let's take more kids...

Hi Everyone, It's Teasha & Tracey at it again. We're just a couple of passionate cousins who would love to share our explosion of emotion with children!

We are overjoyed and thankful witnessing the wave of excitement for the hugely anticipated movie, Black Panther. This movie is changing the trajectory in cinematography and is awakening communities across the globe.

We wanted to follow the fantastic efforts of Frederick Joseph, who started the, #BlackPantherChallange, and raise money for children of families in our cities shelters so that they can view this prolific and epic movie. We are motivated and driven by the community's need for POSITIVITY and TRUTH.
Tracey and I would like to take children impacted by hardships in our city to The Movies! Some of whom cannot afford to go to the movies. With your help, we have decided to take them ourselves. All children need to see The Black Panther Movie.

We are in desperate need for our youth to have a movie (finally), that is based on African American excellence! Black Panther exudes power, confidence, intelligence, pride, self-respect, culture, change, innovation, an overall it shows impressive black images, on the big screen. The experience is incredible, emotional, captivating and down right over due.

African American children have witnessed terrible negative self-images in music, movies, video gaming, etc. I believe this movie will allow children to identify with positive images that reflect more of who they are. They need to be included in the unveiling of who we have always been; it is the BEST way to see themselves in this world!

The Black Panther movie allows black children to dream, speak up, be present, and more importantly "show off" their potential. We hope this movement wakes up the minds, ideas, and dreams of our young people; they are indeed our future.

(This donation is dear to me; it is my first attempt to raise funds for a cause with a huge impact. Being a foster parent with several agencies and working with children displaced allows me the privilege to know firsthand the impact this will have on them. -Teasha Pitts)
