Beyond the Body

Friends, thank you for stopping by my gofundme page. This began as a simple project, a photographic journey to show that external appearances do not define us. It was the chance to rip the mask off, to be vulnerable, "naked", to exclaim in one loud voice "STOP"!! It was intended to stop the negative tapes that play in our minds, to free ourselves from the worst demon in our lives, ourselves. This project has evolved into a documentary and I am shooting a special portion of this project with young cancer patients from Tennessee. If you follow my blog at www.facebook.com/freeyourselfalovemovement, you will read the story of Bishop and Warrick and their mother Allison. It costs thousands of dollars to get the proper equipment needed to do this documentary as well as getting me across the country to interview, film and photograph these amazing children. I will be donating a portion of all proceeds into charities focused on children as well as sending out t-shirts and copies of the documentary once it is made. In addition, I will be doing photo shoots on the trip for those who donate. I hope you will consider donating to a worthy project. I have sunk my entire life savings into it because I believe in it so much. This documentary will be worth it, all of our stories need to be told. We are long overdue in ending our body shaming, stopping the self hatred and ripping that mask off to show the world how amazing we are. Thank you and God bless.
