Django’s Better Ending

By Alexio Troia:
This is the story of Django. This beautiful German Shepherd was struck by a car in a hit-and-run and has since barely survived. He is struggling for his life now at the age of 5.
If you are still interested, please continue to read BELOW!
This happened on Monday, Aug 12th of this year. (Before I go on, My name is Alexio Troia. Django is my brother, and it felt important for me to find a helpful way to pay for the intense medical bill. I know there are horrible things in this world. There are unexplainable amounts of problems that need attention and I’m aware that Django is not the highest priority... we aren’t poor and unfortunate. We aren’t barely getting by... But me and my brother are going to college and this obstacle was not anticipated. Please understand that ANY amount will be appreciated!!! Most importantly, please SHARE this post so more can see! Just $0.50, $1 would be fantastic !) Django unfortunately wandered from our property early that morning and was found by neighbors on the side of the road. After roughly 30 minutes w/o medical attention, my father was informed by neighbors of the sight. Django was rushed to the nearest animal hospital and diagnosed with internal bleeding (stomach, lungs), as well as a pelvis cracked in 3 places. There is no other way to put it: this dog was not a stray, it wasn’t a dog-show winner, it hasn’t saved our family from a bullet, BUT everyone who knows Django knows that he has provided fantastic protection for me and my family. He loves the things that every dog loves to do. We don’t want our beautiful Django to die like this. Now, I must finally state that the treatments for Django are incredibly expensive and much money has already been payed to maintain his health at this current moment a day after this incident. (Edit: Django will sadly require roughly $12,000 in total for treatment and upcoming surgeries.) This is not the easiest for my family to pay during this period in our lives, but we are very supportive of Django and will do everything we can! If you have read this far, then thank you. Just your interest is fantastic. If you’re unable to donate, I ask that you do not feel bad. Please just share! It makes that much more of a chance to save Django. Again, thank you everyone and have a wonderful day:)
