Chesed Project for Batsheva z"l
Donation protected
As an עילוי נשמה for our friend Batsheva Stadlan z"l, and in honor of her recent yartzeit and upcoming birthday, we are raising money to purchase clothing for girls in need in various shelters and orphanages in Israel.
The plan is to make outfits out of the clothing bought and then package them to be delivered to the shelters. Any donation would be greatly appreciated and goes a long way.
We are also organizing an event for both the completion of this chesed project and learning in her memory, which will take place in 2 weeks (on May 17th) at the Shalom Hartman Institute in Israel where Batsheva z"l studied last year on a gap year program.
The first part of the event will be designated to assembling the outfits, packaging them, and writing notes to the girls receiving them. The second component will be dedicated to various shiurim and other programming given by some of those who knew and loved Batsheva z"l.
Batsheva z"l was an extremely passionate and committed person. In addition to her love for fashion and sparkle, she was uniquely dedicated to מצוות בין אדם לחבירו in serving others, exemplified through her working with the children in Bet Elazraki Children's Home, among many other things. She was also extraordinarily dedicated to מצוות בין אדם למקום in which she took her Torah study very seriously.
We felt that these two parts of the day will well represent Batsheva's passions and mark on this world.
May the נשמה of Batsheva Chaya bat Noam Yigal v'Rina z"l have an עליה.
