Barry's Bone Marrow Transplant

My brother Barry has been battling Leukemia for 8 years. The Kaiser doctors have done all they can do for his cancer and need to send him to Stanford Medical Center for a bone marrow transplant. It is his last chance of survival. I have been asked by Barry to be a donor. Luckily, I match 10 out of 10 markers! Unfortunately the cost is astronomical and is more than either of us can afford.
Barry has to move to Palo Alto, California starting in May for 3 months and live in special housing near the hospital before and after the transplant. The housing costs $5400 per month. I will be flying from Montana to California twice within that time frame, once for pre-surgery examination and then another time for 2 weeks for the actual preparation (shots) and the operation. This will cost me approximately $3500 for flights, food, transportation, etc.
