Hello! Thank you for visiting my Campaign. My name is Debbie, I'm the founder of Balanced Life Fitness & Wellness Center in Brea, CA.
Balanced Life Center is a place to come and nourish your mind-body-spirit by reducing the physical, mental and emotional stressors that cause imbalance and to help individuals facilitate a stress free life.
I am very passionate about my mission to be of service and to help others find Life Balance. It is because of my own personal journey of healing from a Hashimotos diagnosis that I realized the importance of creating an environment where individuals seeking answers on how to make better health choices and attain a greater sense of well-being can gather and begin to heal on many levels.
While managing my hashimotos diagnosis, I found true healing in alternative modalities such as acupuncture, herbs, homeopathy, meditation, breath work, yoga, qigong, massage and most importantly energetic healing. It took many years, but as a result of working with mind-body techniques and other alternative therapies, I no longer suffer with an autoimmune imbalance.
Three years ago I took an early retirement from my corporate job to embark on my dream of opening the Center. About that time my mother's (93 yrs old) health declined, she was experiencing severe dementia. My father was not able to care for her alone and I became her primary caregiver and put my dream on hold for the next 3 years until she passed.
Shortly after opening the Center, and unknown to me at the time, it was clear my father did not have the means to take care of the financial obligations as a result of my mom's medical care. A large portion of my start up monies were redirected to help pay for my mom's medical care.
As a new business we are experiencing a slow ramp up of growth and are struggling to make rent. All funds received from this campaign will support the continued growth of our Center. First and foremost, funds will be used to secure rent for the next several months. Secondly, the funds will help us advertise on a larger scale. Securing the funds will alleviate a lot of uncertainty and allow for us to continue to have a presence in the community and will afford me the opportunity to realize my passion/vision and to be of service and help others attain Life Balance. There is a definite interest in what we are offering and based on our testimonials we are on the right track, we just need some time and a little help in getting the word out to more people.

We are Balanced Life Fitness & Wellness Center, a multi-purpose facility where all who visit receive healing and well-being of the mind, body and spirit.
Our program offerings include but are not limited to the following:
Our Group Fitness classes assist individuals on their physical journey to self-empowerment.
Our Mind-Body Technique classes assist individuals to become aware of their breath/body and how to consciously use both to heal.
Our Energetic healing sessions assist individuals in understanding how the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual components are all intertwined and must work in harmony to achieve a level of homeostasis and as a result experience an abundant life, filled with Joy, Happiness, Love and Peace - Freedom.
We offer various workshops to help the community better understand that there is many options to heal. A few of our workshops/events - monthly healing fair, the importance of essential oils, nutrition and how to breathe to self heal.
Please help keep the Center alive and continue to be the beacon of light in the community where healing occurs of many levels.
