BackPACKS bring HOPE
Donation protected
Our goal is to fill 200 with a first aid kit, toiletries, a few food and drink items. We will also take the time to hand write 200 notes of encouragement to put in each bag in order to just give a little HOPE and bring a smile to the face of a person who likely doesn't smile much these days. Each backpack will be accompanied by a coat and given out to homeless, at-risk, and in need population in Seattle.
Up to 10,000 people in King County are currently homeless. Each night 3,000+ of those people sleep on the streets with no where else to go.
Imagine having no where to go to brush your teeth, take a shower, or wash your clothes. Imagine sleeping in the cold with nothing to keep you warm. Most of these people lack even the most basic clothing and toiletry items. And if they do have some, a lot of them don't have anything better than a plastic bag to keep them in.
Help us change this for at least 200 Seattleites.
We (Stephanie's Lifeline) are a newly established non-profit organization that provides assistance to homeless, low-income, & at-risk individuals & families
We're dedicated to serving less fortunate individuals and families by providing tools such as assistance, counseling, and care and also distributing items necessary to survive and even thrive. By doing so, we hope to improve the quality of life of those most in need.
Winter is close....on November 28th we will come together and stuff the backpacks with the items mentioned above. Please consider making a donation today.
You are also invited to our BackPACK Party in which we will be stuffing the backpacks with items purchased and collected and handwriting letters of inspiration and hope to accompany the backpacks. Visit our Facebook event page for more information and to RSVP. We will be providing light snacks and refreshments and it will give us all time to chat and network.
