Hey friends and family! Thank you so much for visiting our GoFundMe page. Here’s our story in a nutshell!
Let's take it back to June 2012 when Dustin decided to stalk me on Facebook until I would go out with him for a drink. Who knew that 4 years later we would be tying the knot! I guess it was those baby blue eyes and impeccable timing that got the best of me.
Following Dustin’s return home from his time in the Marine Corps, we took the next step in our relationship and moved in together. Before we knew it, we had a three bedroom home, a backyard, and a new dog, Swag. Between school, work and Dustin’s boys, Brenden and Austin, we’ve been going non stop since we met.
Shortly after being in our rental, we still felt that something was missing, and after watching countless hours of HGTV and DIY, we quickly realized that we wanted to be those people on television, so we bought our first home together in Atwater, in August 2014. She wasn’t pretty to look at at first, however through blood, sweat, and tears, and the help of our loving family and friends, we can now call this place our own.
On to July 2015, after what seemed liked FOREVER, Dustin got down on one knee and popped the question. Of course without hesitation, I said YES! So, now here we are with our wedding date right around the corner in June 2016. We feel our home is pretty set with all the essentials so we won’t have a huge registry list at any particular store. Instead, we’d like to take a dream vacation to Oahu, HI following our wedding. We want to spend a week in the sun with sand between our toes with no cares in the world except for what’s the next fun thing to do or restaurant to try.
So although it’s not the traditional wedding gift, a donation to our honeymoon would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for your generosity. With all our love, Dustin & Brooke!
