"Bright Star" Aurora Rose Luder

Amiee, Sam, Zachary and Aurora Luder were involved in a terrible accident on the 13th of December 2014. Amiee and Sam’s daughter, Aurora, was taken from them far too soon. As family and friends, we are truly devastated by this loss.

 

The idea of organising Bright Star for this young and much-loved family came from Aurora’s aunty Sheridan and long-time friend Rachelle. The name Bright Star was chosen because not only was Aurora a bright star in life, but now a bright star in the sky, shining forever for her family.

 

Aurora was a bright spark that lit up the room wherever she went. She was a real live wire. Aurora loved getting in there and giving anything a go, despite her young age of three. She certainly made sure that she kept up with her older brother, Zach. Nothing could hold her back! She absolutely loved playing with her cousins, aunties and uncles, and would always look forward to those get togethers where they would all get up to mischief. But no matter what, she was Nanny and Poppy's number 1 fan. She loved visiting her Nanny and Poppy, and oh the adventures they had together! Aurora was an intelligent little girl who loved to get her hands dirty. She always wanted to be a part of the action. Aurora was so excited about starting Kindy next year. She was actually more excited to start Kindy than she was about Christmas! That zest for life certainly rubbed off on anyone she would meet.

 

Whether it was riding motorbikes with her dad and Zach, or holding her baby cousin Axel, beneath that tomboy exterior was a gentle, loving and caring little girl who would always look out for those she loved.

 

Bright Star is all about action. We as family and friends need to get behind this family in their time of need. It is now our turn to help them. As Amiee, Sam and Zachary have suffered from broken bones and extensive scratches and bruising, time will be needed to heal these physical wounds. We need your help, to help this young family that has just had their whole world turned upside down.

 

This money raised will be used to help this family financially and also to honour their long-time generosity. There will be many ways to help in the long run, and we know times are going to be hard for them. But if everyone joins together and donates something, whether $1 or $1 million, any donation will be appreciated. So please donate and help make this family smile again.
