Ann's Medical Expenses Fund

Hello Friends and Family!

A few weeks ago my mom, Ann Pennington, fell and broke her foot. (EDIT: Yesterday she fell and broke her wrist, navigating with her crutches!)

Now her doctor has diagnosed that she needs surgery if she wants to walk normally again. 

My mom is one of the most hard-working and compassionate people I know. She supports my sister and her three children that live with her, she is also an active member of the community and at her local church. She is a swim instructor/coach for both kids and adults and also does private water therapy lessons with elderly clients. I am setting this up for her because I know she wouldn't like to put anyone out asking for the help she desperately needs.

The first need:

$10,000 for the foot surgery itself. She does not have insurance to cover this cost. 

The second need:

$6,000 for recovery expenses.

Ann works 3 different jobs! 2 of those jobs provide more than half of her income, and being active and able to move around is crucial to perform those jobs. 

She will lose $6,000 of her income during recovery time, money she will need in order to pay her bills.
