Disaster Relief Home Rebuild

Donation protected

My sister, Adriana and her family lives in Baker, Lousiana near the Comite river. On a Friday night in August the river overflowed its' banks  in an unprecedented 500 year flood. My sister and her family were rescued by the National Guard, but they have lost everything.

Here is a video of the flood levels

Insurance will not cover the full reconstruction of their home, and FEMA has provided all it can. The interior pictures are of the current state of their house. I am collecting money to help them have a home for the Holidays. The money donated will go towards replacing floors, walls, bathrooms, kitchen, doors, etc. They are currently living in the house under a government project called shelter in home, but it is not a permanent solution.

My sister has a big heart, and is a beautiful woman. She gives back to the people around her, and works as a public face in a very trying position with Social Security. I feel she deserves some good karma coming her way. She is always taking care of everyone else, and I think it's time she is taken care of.

Words can not describe how grateful we would be to have this campaign funded. Every little penny helps, and there is no such thing as a donation too small. Our hearts overflow with thankfullness. #GoBeyondGiving
