On September 15, 2016 I was involved in a critical car accident and was found by the paramedics around 2 a.m. Outside of the vehicle face down. I was the passenger in the vehicle and took the brunt of the impact hitting a tree shattering my femur and causing respiratory failure.
The scariest day of my life that haunts me every night trying to sleep through the pain, knowing that this is going to change my life forever.
My parents got a knock on their door right after they found me and my parents dropped to their knees thinking that I was dead. All the cops knew was I had respiratory failure and I was rushed to ICU and the operating room for surgery. (My mother just found out that my uncle was found dead so she has been going through such a state of depression which such close ones passing away or near death incidents)
My hemoglobin levels were extremely low and I have the rarest blood. I was able to have blood tranfusions (God Bless that donor) and eventually after all the tranfusions my levels were "close to normal"
I unfortunately have no insurance and JUST moved down to Florida to be closer to my family and to enjoy A better life as Massachusetts was causing me to become very depressed. My job interviews were all looking GREAT and I had 3 offers I was told I won't be able to work fo r a while and Justin would need to stay home with me to prevent falls, fainting, do physical therapy and take me to all my appointments as I am not allowed to drive for a long time. This was obviously not in our plans but are strong believers that God puts us through things for a reason.
My medications, dr appointments, and cost of living are near impossible to meet now that we have this bump in the road. I am starting this page in hopes that my friends/family and church will help with the hard times until I heal and get medically cleared to go back to work, then Justin can as well, but right now I need his care 24/7 because paying somebody would cost us A fortune..And if you can not contribute all we ask for is PRAYERS DAILY for my recovery so we can get back to a normal life.
