New hope for abused puppy Aloha

This is Aloha, a beautiful, 1 year old, German Shepard mix. She is a wonderful dog who suffers from severe social anxiety after being abused in her previous home. The shelter I work for has lots of wonderful dogs, but Aloha is the dog I choose to foster because she needed some special attention. It took me a while to get to know her, but now she is a fun loving, goofy puppy who trips over her long legs, knocks things off tables with her giant wagging tail and does a dance whenever there's chicken for dinner.
Sadly, I'm the only one who gets to meet the real Aloha. She is so fearful that to everyone else she is the big dog that curls herself into a tiny ball so they won't notice her, the dog that is always hiding, that shies away when people get too close. She's is the wide eyed, pitiful dog that has too often been labeled as "beyond help", but we aren't giving up on her. We have tried medication, multiple trainers, various training and relaxing aides, but nothing seems to help.
Here at Shelter Chic we are determined to give Aloha the life and mental health she deserves, but we are at the end of the long list of things we hoped would make a difference. So now we are preparing to see a special Behavioral Vet who can prescribe medications other vets do not specialize in. Unfortunately, these visits and medications will be costly, and after we have found the right combination of meds, Aloha will need some intensive training and rehabilitation to prepare her for a normal life. We know we have a long, difficult road ahead of us, but we have run out of other options, so we hope some of our followers, friends and animal lovers can help us out with whatever they can spare.
The money we are raising will go towards covering the cost of seeing the vet on four separate occasions.
We have taken extreme measures to make sure Aloha is not living in constant panic, and we avoid everything and anything that makes her nervous, which is most things! This means she is living in a very limited life. Even though we take her out to the suburbs where she can enjoy the peace and quiet, it will never be quiet enough for Aloha in her current state of mind. Right now even birds singing can be enough to make Aloha run and hide. Instead we focus on what we know she loves, like spending time with her foster sister, eating rotisserie chicken, belly rubs and chew toys. We try to fill her life with only good things, but we would love to add trips to the dogs park, hikes in forest and enjoying time with human friends and family.
I have the time and love for Aloha to get her through this difficult period in her life, but sadly we just do not have the funds. Please help us get Aloha the help she needs and give this young pup a bright future.
