Charlie's ADA Bath/Bedroom Fund

I am excited to have an opportunity for you to join me blessing my best friend's son Charlie who is living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Charlie needs a bedroom and bathroom on the main floor of their home as getting up and down stairs is almost impossible and not safe for him any longer. This is a battle cry of my best friend as a mother. They are 4 years into a Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy diagnosis and their sweet son can no longer climb stairs to use the only bathroom in their home or to go to sleep in his own bedroom. They are feverishly working to raise $40,000 for an ADA compliant bedroom and bathroom for Charlie. What 8 year old boy wants to be carried up the stairs every time he needs to use the restroom....certainly not Charlie! It puts Charlie at risk for injury, but also effecting his self esteem greatly. The battle with Duchenne is fought by their faith and outlook on life and their joy-filled boy who in Jenny's words is "losing a little of his sparkle"...as a mom she refuses to let that happen! As her best friend, I do too! This just isn't about a bathroom and bedroom, it is a quality of life that Charlie needs and so much deserves. Every donation no matter how big or small will go directly to help Charlie.
