Dear Family and Friends,
I’m very excited to announce that Alexandra was accepted to attend a 5 week rising star program at Savannah College of Art and Design, she will be leaving the weekend of Father’s Day. This program allows for incoming seniors to live in campus of their preferred university and take two courses towards their major (Alexandra’s major is 3D animation) while living on campus and exploring university life in a safe environment.
Alexandra qualifies for their scholarship, but it doesn't cover the entire school’s tuition. I do not have the financial means to cover the difference, so I am turning to my family and friends to help me raise the difference so that Alexandra can take advantage of this wonderful educational opportunity.
As her mother, I can say that Alexandra has been one of my greatest teachers. She has helped me to grow and learn not only as a parent, but also as a professional. She is truly an exceptional young lady. She deserves to receive the best academic environment possible.
We are fortunate to have found a school that is a good fit for her, and she has been admitted, but I am not able to cover the additional tuition costs that are required for her enrollment. Therefore, I am asking all of you to please open your hearts, and if you are able, make an investment in this child’s education. No amount is too small. I have created an account for the donations and will ensure that all donations are used for Alexandra's academic expenses.
Once again, I believe it take a village to raise a child and Alexandra’s success is truly a product of all the wonderful role models she has in her life.
