For over ten years Abu Huraira Center (AHC) has been actively serving the Muslims in the Greater Toronto Area. In our diverse & unique community we attract over 1000 regular attendees. Our center offers various programs and services such as the full time Montessori Islamic school, weekend and evening Islamic schools, Quran Ijaza programs, a wide variety of youth programs, weekly lectures, and annual conferences. With the support of our community we strive to develop new programs and enhance our existing ones.

“A Community In Danger”

With our current building, Abu Huraira Center is not able to accommodate our fast growing community. The growing number of attendees at our events greatly outnumbers our housing and parking capacity. Due to this issue, the Municipal Government of Toronto has voiced their concerns and we have been striving to meet their requirements. As we continue to welcome new members into our community every day, our lack of spaces does not allow for us adequately accommodate many of the new program we wish to put into practice.

“Extending Our Foundation”

In 2014, Abu Huraira Center launched its expansion project embarking on a journey to raise $8,800,000.

With the help of Allah and our loving community Our intention is to turn the Church into the main Masjid, and to turn the current Center into a much needed Youth Center & Full Time Islamic School.

Abu Huraira Center is currently in the process of acquiring the church located next to our current building. The church is 40,000 square feet and is well equipped with many facilities.

Alhamdulilah, we have reached the halfway goal of $4,500,000 in 2015 with the help of ourgenerous donors.

Our next upcoming deadline is for $1,500,000 by December 2016. ‏We hope you will continue to support us as we work towards our goal to raise the remaining 4.3 million dollars.
