Let's buy a defibrillator for Cactus Beach!

Please help us in our campaign to raise some money to purchase an external automated defibrillator (AED) for the Cactus Beach surf camp area, on the far west coast of South Australia.
Cactus is a wildy beautiful and remote area, famous for its rich surfing history. Its remoteness is part of its magic, however it means that the closest hospital is 100km away in Ceduna!
As many readers may know, we have a lot of older campers and surfers visiting Cactus almost all-year round and if someone has a heart attack the nearest AED is in Penong, 20 kilometres away.
We believe that the Cactus Beach community of long and short term visitors would benefit greatly from having a local AED installed at the at the A-frame in the campground.
We are looking at purchasing an AED through the SA Red Cross at a discounted price of $2700.
