The team is home! As the needs in Texas have shifted from rescue to relief, our crew was able to make the journey home and arrived at 7am (Sunday morning). As a team we will be processing how we can learn from our experiences and become even more effective if this type of effort is needed in the future.
We are eternally grateful to all who have donated and prayed. Your support has carried and inspired us.
To those patrons who have graciously worked with us to create options and support our team, we are so thankful for your graciousness.
Our staff here at home have been pulling extra hours and working extra tours to carry us through, and their graciousness is not lost on us. So to our ADA family, our kind patrons, and to all our partners in this mission... THANK YOU!
To the dispatchers and rescuers, both LEO and grassroots, you are AMAZING. thank you for your tireless efforts.
And to those just beginning their recovery in Texas, we see you. We pray for you. We will continue to support and send resources to you. We grieve with you and celebrate little victories with you.
We praise God for the provision, endurance, and protection he has given to our team and to so many others. We will continue to post opportunities to be of service to those in Texas/Louisiana in the coming days.
Paddle On,
The ADA team

Thursday morning update. Last night Lumberton officials opened the floodgates and water began to rise there, which was NW of our team's position. Austin and Richard were scouting the ravaged area of Vidor by kayak when I heard a mandatory evacuation order stating "evacuate or die". Paddling and then driving back to their staging area was dicey, but they made it safely and were able to wait out the surge with the team on dry ground. Thank you to everyone who is praying!!
There are many of boaters in the areas of Beaumont, Port Arthur, and Orange, but fewer in Vidor where the guys are. Even still, the calls for rescue are overwhelming the teams there. They're resting up and will be jumping into the rescue efforts fully charged today.
Pray for wisdom as they make many decisions with their own vehicles and safety, all the while listening to address after address for help. It's grueling physically and emotionally.

An update from Jeff! We spent the day exhausting our bag of tricks driving various routes, modifying vehicle's intakes, and scoping flood depths by kayak. Since recording the video (posted on on our FB), we successfully crossed the flooded road that held back so many. Onward to Beaumont/Port Charles where the need is most dire! Roads are still treacherous and nearly impassable in many places, but this step forward has given rejuvenation and hope that we can get to those in distress. We are so close. Please continue praying for strength, love, and sound minds. Your support means the world to us.

THANK YOU to our supporters! Last night we had opportunities to donate a lot of fuel and support boaters with the Cajun Navy logistically. We were also able to get some rest in our vehicles last night. This morning, we determined our best way to be an asset was to proceed west in the direction of Houston and find a way to help however possible. We have a few live videos on Facebook from last night if you'd like to see what we were up to.
Thank you for your continued prayer and support!
