For A New Heart for Debi!! She is a wife, mother, grandmother and sister .
This women has given her life to help others working with the disabled most of her life and now she needs our help! This started 2 years ago, She now has heart disease and four things wrong with her heart.The doctors have tried medication and they placed a pacemaker/defibrillator in to help keep her alive because she is at great risk for a heart attack...Now she is facing heart transplant because she is 2 years into the 5 year 50% life span for her condition. Belieive it or not she has been working and trying to save for whats to come. She has been approved and refered over to Cedars Sinai Hospital. Whats needed is financial help for the relocation of her & a family member to L.A for the first 3 months after her surgery. So funds are needed for that and medication to follow. Including co pays from insurance ! Also, the loss of income alone is overwhelming ! She is set up to go on the list with Cedar Sinai in June 2017 but would have to wait for her turn on the list you have to be well enough to survive the surgery but bad enough to get a heart. she is in the hospital now as of May 23 2017
She was not prepared financialy for this to happen so quickly or for that matter in the first place ! But, funds are now needed sooner than expected!
