Jon and Kaylie Meis Honeymoon & future!
UPDATE: With the overwhelming success of this page so far, I want to let you all in on where we go from here. For those who don't know me, my name is Jessamyn McIntyre, I live in Seattle and work at 710 ESPN Seattle. I do not have a personal relationship with Jon Meis or his family, but was touched by his actions, along with all of you. I have been in contact with Seattle Pacific University, who have notified Jon and his family about your generous support. I will be working with SPU staff when the time comes to close the page.
I am astounded by the response from Seattle, the country and around the world. You have all shown the good side of humanity.

The support you have all shown remains to be overwhelming and inspiring.
I hope you're donating nearly all of these morons money to people who do stuff like this all the time (firefighters for example)
praying for you all
Thank you, Sir. There is no donation anyone cam make that says enough. Thank you.
Thank you for you heroic actions! Bravery is a wonderful commodity in this life.
Jon, you did an amazing thing that deserves recognition and appreciation. As much as we would all like to think we would react much the same as you did, the truth is we don't know. It's hard to know unless you are placed there, and while what happened was a complete tragedy, the world has seen the faith inherent at SPU, and the courage of its students. From a fellow Seattle Christian and SPU grad I wanted to say congratulations on a job well done! I wish you and your fiancée all the best. I'm sure it will be a beautiful wedding!
how do i donate?
faith In Humanity Restored :)
Jon, God Bless you and your family. We are so proud of the way you responded in the face of danger without hesitation. We are praying that you are comforted in the fact that you may have saved many others from being lost or hurt. Many blessings as you move forward with your marriage and new career! Gail, Randy, Haley and Zach (Uncle Mitch's sister and fam)
We are truly amazed by your courage to act in the face of terror but also of your integrity as a man. To show others that true service means to think of others first, no matter the situation, is an inspiration and a lesson for all of us. May G-d continue to bless you and you family and please know you have touched people, including myself, with your strength, honor and humbleness. With much love from Boston, MA
I wish I could donate but congrats on reaching your goal! Thank your for your bravery. You're a hero and inspiration to many. Enjoy a wonderful life together. :)
Thank you Jon, best wishes to you and your fiancée
God bless you and your family. You say you are not a hero but what you did says otherwise. In the face of fear you made a choice and it was based more on the welfare of others than yourself. To me , that is what I try to teach my children , to make good choices and care for our fellow man.
Jon, the check for you and your fiancee is in my purse. I just thought..the soup kitchen would love those few dollars! Bless your heart! I'll tell them, "from John with love"
I'm broke, but you made your goal! I just want to thank you for having so much courage, it gives me hope in humanity ♡ thank you again Jon Meis you are truly a hero and you deserve the best!
Not very many people have their bravery that you showed that day. Most stand back and watch the horror take place, but not you. This is why people honor you by donating to your fund. How humble of you to stay no thank you. You're parents did an amazing job raising such a wonderful man. To your future wife, your husband is a winner, cherish him forever.
God Bless your heart!!!:))
I would really appreciate your help please fund my son's medical surgery here https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/vito-needs-hypospadia-medical-surgery/x/7846686

How can you put a price on what you did? I would give you a million dollars if I could and it still wouldn't be enough. We need more people like you in the world.
I loved reading the statement. What a truly humble person and a living, breathing example of God's love. Thank you for those words Jon. I hope they reach more people and pray with you and others for healing.
