Money for Monson

The Friends of Owasso Police Foundation needs your help! The Owasso Police Department recently had the opportunity to purchase another K9 officer, Monson. Obtaining Monson will allow a K9 officer to be on each of the four shifts. The Foundation had enough funds from previous donations to purchase the dog but we need to raise additional funds for other related expenses such as housing, vehicle adjustments, food, vet expenses etc. The 2016 police department budget does not have an allowance for these expenses and they could use the help of the community. We would like to obtain the balance of the funds needed by June 30th, 2016. Having a K9 on each shift will greatly increase not only officer safety but will allow the deparment to do more proactive policing.
