Omaha Mission Trip

SoulQuench youth camp is headed back to Omaha. July 8 -15. We're taking around 40 people.

These 40 will be working with a church plant, International Church Christ Built, in Omaha. This chuch plant is roughly a year old. We'll be doing manual labor cleaning the facility grounds and holding a vacation Bible school event. During this VBS event, we'll be holding a back to school event, giving out backpacks and school supplies.

We will also be working with Abide. Abide is an inner city, non-profit organization with a dream, that one day, Omaha, Nebraska would have no inner city. Our mission is to transform the inner city, one neighborhood at a time.

And our last ministry partner is Freeway Ministries. Freeway is a ministry focused on assisting the local church with hard to reach men and women by explaining the Gospel in a way they can relate by people who have been in the same circumstances. They are a gateway into church for the people that are “unchurched.”

Each missionary and each church represented are raising their own funds. If you'd like to be a part of that fundraising here's a great opportunity.

The $8000 amount includes the 7.9% fee that GoFundMe charges. They also keep $.30 for each donation.

Any donations given will be divided between the churches unless marked as for a specific church.

You can simply send a check to the Greene County Baptist Association (834 W Battlefield, Springfield MO 65807) with a note saying the funds are forthe Omaha mission trip. Some simply find it easier online, so we created this account.
