Ben Jalovick: Training Fund
Ben started skating at the age of 11 on a lake in northern Wisconsin. He enjoyed is so much that he soon joined the local figure skating club where he learned all of the basic skills that would one day build his foundation. Ben progressed quickly and started to seek out the advanced training programs and coaches who would be able to build him into the athlete he hoped to become. After multiple moves, staying with host families, long commutes to and from home, Ben continued to strength his skills and achieve his goals. By following his elite jump coach out to Colorado, Ben learned about the 7k International Skating Academy and everything it had to offer to him and his training. Since his move, Ben has grown tremendously as a skater and as a person.
Figure skating, in general, is a very expensive sport and it takes a special level of dedication to reach such an elite level of athletics. Ben thrives off of the passion and dedication it takes each and every day to conquer his dreams. Since he started this sport, his parents and extended family have funded his training. As Ben got older, he also acquired part-time job opportunities to aid in the funding needed to continue his journey. As he progresses through the levels, his expenses have also increased. In order to have the opportunity to keep competing, Ben is asking for your support through any means of assistance you may be able to provide. His dedication to the sport inspires his family, friends and teammates and he would love the chance to continue to reach for his goals. Thank you for your support!
Damon, Sara, Mary, and Shaunna I'd like to thank you all so so very much for your help and support! Even if it's just a small amount it's worth a whole lot to me! I'm so excited for this next season, I new programs are amazing and I have quads planned in them so I'm hoping to finally make it on to the international circuit this year. :)
And thank you!
If you can't find it on either mine or Ben's fb page, just message me Joan.
Tom and I would like to donate. We need to wait until June. So I trust I can still find this web site in a couple of weeks.
