Halt climate engineering billboard
The billboard you see has just got installed on 4-14-16 and is scheduled to remain at location for 12 months. It is in Punta Gorda, FL, on US 17, about 1,5 mile north of I-75, and visible going north towards Arcadia. The traffic count is about 14 000 vehicles a day. It is going to be a challenge to keep this billboard, unless we can find enough motivated individuals to help us with this effort. Those of you who already donated, can and should be proud of yourself. You are now the part of this project. We are asking and hoping for others to contribute, and/or help us to publicize this campaign, so we can reach maximum exposure in order to collect as much funds as we can. It is also my hope and wish that this effort will serve as an example, and encourage others to organize similar projects. Reaching critical mass of public awareness on the climate engineering issue is absolutely critical, if we ever are going to have any realistic chance for ending this climate engineering nightmare once and for all.
June, and with it hurricane season are approaching quickly. After a near miss (as far as catastrophic wind force of Hurricane Irma) last year, time will show what this season (and geoengineers) have in store for us.
Having said that, the billboard ,as I mentioned in previous update, is scheduled to remain at the location (U.S. highway 17) for another year (end of April 2019). The dues for another two months have just got submitted, so we are good to go until Aug 1, 2018.
I know it sound redundant, but greater number of activists and populations have to get physically involved in this cause in order for it to succeed. These actions like billboard going up, or lawsuit filed by GeoengineeringWatch.org and Stop Geoengineering Minnesota, are NOT substitute for any efforts and actions each and everyone of us could and should take themselves. Critical mass awareness is, again, the only way forward. Every day one sits the bench, brings us closer to our collective demise. And those who just decide to ignore it all, deny, dismiss, reject, because they do not believe it, then know this: whatever one chooses to believe, is just that: a belief. It does not alter the reality, all it does, is preventing one to take action, and thus change the equation for better.
So, in other words: one's beliefs and opinions do NOT matter (not in a sense one is not entitled to them, we all absolutely are, but they do not change the reality). It is important to keep it in mind.
On the other front, I was unable to attend Climate Engineering Awareness Booth in May, but I am planning to man one on June 9th at the same location (tentative of the venue being offered). Here are some pictures from The April Event.
I hope you had a great, family bound Easter.
A quick update here. As I said, I did signed another year of lease for the billboard. Economically dictated decision was to leave it where it is, although moving it to one of the available locations would definitely benefit the cause.
Here is the rub though. Although I did received meaningful help from the handful of individuals around the country, and beyond, who understand the gravity and immediacy of our situation. (These individuals, by the way do a great deal of activism on their own, at their own time and expense). The equation of greater number of the public stepping up to plate in order to expose and halt climate engineering, must be understood and utilized in order for our cause to succeed. And unfortunately (again with very few exceptions), the ignorance and willful blindness is still a choice for far too many.
Look around you: what do you see people are preoccupied with? What are they doing? What are their efforts and conversations focused on? Do they in any way reflect our priorities needed for us to survive on this planet? I'll leave it there to ponder these questions.
The next climate engineering awareness booth at the Train Depot in Punta Gorda, FL will be staged on Sat, April 14. Please show your support (if you live near by), and stop by to pick up some free materials to help us distribute them. The event is scheduled from 8 to 3.
And last (but not least) I wanted to present a 12 minute interview with Vandana Shiva, a well known health food and sustainable living activist from India. Take a look:
Since it is a second Saturday of the month, we staged climate engineering awareness booth for the second time, in Historical Train Depot in Punta Gorda, Fl.
The event went well, some really informed, asking questions folks showed up, flyers, DVD's and mini cards were passed on, even a T-shirt found a new owner.
I took few pics and recorded another video. They are attached to this update.
On our billboard front, there are some good news. I already made decision to extend the lease for another year. Graphics will remain unchanged. The only thing I am sitting on the fence, is location. There are couple of spots available on Veterans Blvd with higher traffic count. And the switch would expose many new drivers to the message. The rent, however, is also significantly higher. I will make the decision soon, and post another update. As always I welcome your input and ideas.
I hope all is good with you. Thanks for your continuous support and let's keep beating the drum!
It is past time for our bi-monthly update. I waited few days since I had an event coming, and wanted to wrap it all together.
First things first thou: Yes, our billboard did get extended for another two months, so we are present there until April 1st. I also expressed intent to renew our lease agreement for another year, but have not received and signed it yet. I will announce it as soon as I do.
And now the reason I delayed the update:
Today, Feb 10th I staged an awareness booth with free educational materials on the subject of climate engineering and grave dangers it poses to all of us and the entire web of life. The event took place at the Historical Train Depot in Punta Gorda, Fl.
It is called: All aboard the last stop marketplace, and it always takes place on the second Saturday of the month. The event went well, flyers, mini cards, DVD's, booklets, even a bumper sticker got passed to the public. A lot of questions got answered, and curious minds enlightened.
It is my intention to make our presence there every month (Historical Society of Punta Gorda approval dependent). Show your support and if you are in the area, stop by and say hi, pick a flyer or a business card, and enjoy the event. The next one is scheduled March 10th. Perhaps see you there!
Here are some pictures and a short video.
Thanks. I am sharing the latest with my college students.
Glad to hear it. Here's what I was doing on Earth Day April 22, 2017, in ATL. (same tee shirt - plus I passed out flyers) Thanks! http://www.theforgottenroom.org/at_every_opportunity.html
Hello Mary, Thank you, your letter to Obama was short and to the point, on climate engineering. And his response was absolutely vague, with no mention of climate engineering whatsoever. He has never addressed the issue, directly, or indirectly. Kudos to you for trying, and let's all keep the record of it as a proof of Obama's deception. Unfortunately, Obama is only what he is, just another smooth spoken puppet in a arsenal of tools of those truly in power.
I wrote the President about climate engineering and did get a response back. It's posted, here. http://theforgottenroom.org/ltrs_to_from_White_House.html
Thanks for this update. I'm sharing.
