Hi, my name is Steve. I struggle asking for help, especially with money. I am 54 years old and have been married to my best friend for over 29 years. The most talented and fascinating woman I have ever met. She works as a special education teacher's aide. We have 4 adult children, one is in heaven , one in college, one who is an art teacher and one that is in the Navy. They are truly big blessings in our lives.
I was a special education teacher who lost his job after 10 years. I recently dabbled back in the motorcycle industry and was fired from my job as a receptionist/service writer at a local motorcycle shop on a very reduced income. It was cool being around bikers and their bikes. Great
people to work with. They are the ones who have encouraged me to post here.
I have Atrial Fibrillation that can not be controlled by medication. I have already had one surgery to ablate the nerves in my heart and the nerves grew back. My doctors want to perform another surgery and I don't have enough to pay for the $10,000 deductible I have left to meet. There is an 80% success rate with this surgery because equipment has improved since my last surgery.
My doctors have wanted to do this surgery since September 2015, it is the deductible that has been holding me back. My wife is very concerned and worries a great deal about me. She had her hopes dashed after the last surgery did not work and I went into A-FIB. We would be grateful for your prayers or help with the deduct able.
