Help the Arroyo Family

Hello family and friends! Thank you for taking the time to read our story. I am writing this with lots of vulnerability but strength, as sometimes life doesn't give you a choice. On Sepetember 12, 2015 in the early hours of 1:30am, while most of you were sleeping or preparing for bed, my family's life was turned upside down. My husbands phone rang (even though it was on silent) and we got a call that will forever haunt us. My father in law was shot. He was enjoying himself with a few friends outside an apartment complex when two men walked up at gun point to rob the three of them. While two of the men were thrown on the ground with guns pointed at their heads, my father in law did what he felt was right in the moment and ran. As he turned to run, one of the men shot him in the back making him instantly fall. The men then proceeded to take the other guys cell phones and wallets and run. Fortunately, there were ambulances nearby so they were able to rush my father in law as quickly as possible to the nearby hospital. He was in surgery for close to five hours and by the grace of God himself, he is alive. My my father in law is an exceptional man who would give the shirt off his back for someone in need. He is the strongest man I know, next to my husband, and deserves nothing but wonderful things. Anyone who knows him would agree. My name is Madison Arroyo and I am Adrian Arroyo's daughter in law. I am writing this on behalf of my husband, Uriel Arroyo and the rest of the family to ask that whatever you can do to help our family in this desperate time of need, would be so appreciated! My father in law lives with us, however, has bills of his own he's responsible for and will not be returning to work till he is healed from his second surgery which the date is to be determined. The bills have all fallen on my husband and I and although we have steady jobs that we are so grateful for, we are not going to be able to make ends meet with the expensive hospital bills and doctors appointments. 

My  family and I would be so incredibly grateful for whatever you are able to give and each and everyone of you guys would have a special spot in our prayers. We are so thankful for the support but most importantly the love that we have received in the past few weeks. We believe that God doesn't give us anything we can't handle and even though sometimes it feels like we can't move forward, seeing Adrian overcome this, pushes us to keep going.
